Welcome...

Brenda was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1961. As a young child she developed a love for wildlife and the African bushveld. After a number of years as a horticulturist / landscape designer, she began to paint wildlife, first in water colours and then in charcoal and pastels.

After being introduced to sculpting in 1998, she became a full time sculptress, specializing in African wildlife. Brenda believes that this medium is the most suited to her personality as it is 3 dimensional. She loves the touch and feel of the clay and bronze.

In 2001 the Department of Trade and Industries sponsored Brenda to exhibit her sculptures in Germany. Her first 2 exhibitions in the USA were held in Fort Lauderdale and Reno in 2002 & 2003. Brenda donated the sculpture "Fighting for Survival - Giant Sable of Angola", which was auctioned to raise funds for the conservation of these rare and beautiful antelope in Angola.

She has also donated sculptures to Safari Club International, which too have been auctioned , with the money raised being used to assist with wildlife conservation projects throughout the world. Brenda's sculptures are proudly displayed in homes, offices and lodges in South Africa, Europe & USA.
